We're delighted to offer a variety of membership options to suit your needs. Whether you're a seasoned sailor or new to the sport, we have a place for you. To encourage new adult members, we offer a 50% discount on the first year's membership subscription, with waived sailing fees.

Membership Categories:
Full Member: Open to individuals over 18 years of age, offering all club benefits.
Full Member (Partner Rate): Available for couples living together as a family unit, providing a reduced subscription rate for one partner.
Intermediate Member: For individuals aged 18 to 25, with voting privileges and a reduced subscription rate for full-time students.
Junior Member: For children aged 5 to 18, with no annual subscription fee if at least one parent is a Full Member.
Application Process & Fees:
To apply, you need a proposer and seconder who have been voting members for over 12 months. Applications are posted on the Club Notice board for 14 days before approval by the General Committee. Membership fees must be paid before approval. The Club’s year runs from July to June, with subscription renewals due by July 31st.

Sailing Eligibility & Fee Requirements:
Members: To compete in more than three races, members must be financial and pay the Sailing Fee (waived in the first year).
Guests: Guest crew can join up to three races with an active MYC SailPass before needing to join the Club.
Boat Entry Fees:
Fees apply for entering boats in Division 1, 2, or 3 races, covering the Club Championship and Scarborough Cup Championship Series. No entry fee is required for social Twilight, Sunday Stern Chaser, or Winter Races.
